Claude Sonnet 5 is now the default Anthropic model

New accounts start on Claude Sonnet 5, the model catalog includes the Claude 5 family, and a hardened migration path moves existing flows and agents off older Sonnet versions.

The newest frontier models are now available and routed by default. Claude Sonnet 5 replaces Claude Sonnet 4.6 as the Anthropic model auto-enabled for new accounts, so fresh workspaces start on the current generation with platform keys and no setup.

  • Claude Sonnet 5 by default. New accounts get the routed claude-sonnet-5 model out of the box, and the dashboard assistant now runs on it too.
  • Claude 5 family in the catalog. The model catalog picks up Claude 5 models as routed IDs, so flows and agents stay current as versions update.
  • Safe migration for existing accounts. A hardened migration tool maps every pre-5 Sonnet variant (dotted, dated, or prefixed) to claude-sonnet-5 across flows, agents, and model configs, with dry runs, backups, and rollback built in.
  • Generators upgraded. The flow and product generators now default to GLM 5.2 for faster, higher-quality generation.

Existing model selections keep working; nothing changes until you upgrade.
